Post 10: English Language Challenges.

Hello, people of the world! This last week, I am going to write about English Language Challenges because we are to finally semester. It is a moment very important for his time, I need a little of relaxation, yes, is for the university. For this, I answer about the importance of English for the life, do you think the same? And how is your English level? And, I think about my experience in the university.

First, the subject of English at university – I had second, third and fourth level- in this space is the most important write and speak in English. For me, the subject is better when the teachers is cool and speak slow. In my three experiences with English subject, I like so much my teachers. Now, in relation to the last level (third and fourth), we use blog where the proposed is write about different topics. Oh! These words are a blog, that is, an example of the blog. In generally, I like write blogs but something I don’t like too much the topics like: “think in my future job” or “Postgraduate Studies".

In other aspect about English, I know that I need the aspects like listen more conversations in English, read -in English- more, I can read more paper, investigation, book and others. And, of course –the most difficult for me- speak English front persons and speak with other persons. For all, I have a plan for this…well, I don’t secure but I could in vacation or see the English like a subject funny and important for my life, if I want to travel to other country.

Post 9: Changes to my Study Programme

Hello, people of the world! This week, I am going to write about changes to my Study Programme. When I was a student at school, I never questioned the subjects and the way of teaching -the dominant one-, but now, with these three years in university, I have thought about all the possible ways that could have been improved and that could be better in both contexts.

To begin with, I believe that the Social Work program at the University of Chile has great potential to impact society and generate changes, but I feel that it is necessary to visualize the different subjects in practice, that is, how it develops inside the rooms of classes. 

In addition, I think that innovations should be made on the types of evaluations that prevail in the teaching mechanisms. In that sense, regarding the practices, the possible evaluations could be expanded, since my experience of this year in the project of migrant children, the notes were reduced only in a report, which made all the work done in the workshops of the children invisible.

Ah! I forgot, I feel that it is necessary to observe each context that each person has, well, that could be useful for all other career .. I do not know, mechanisms could be proposed that are effective in grouping the different contexts.

Mentioning other careers, I thought that circumstances are gaps to share on the academic level, I do not know, I think of the possible projects that can be done within the university, from different perspectives and thus, understand the social phenomenon in its complexity.

Post 8: Summer Vacations

Hello, people of the world! This week, I am going to write about summer vacation. In this moment, I need a little of relaxation, yes, is for the university. For this, I think that vacation is for feeling in the world, do you think the same? And where are you go in vacation?

I don't have any plans for this summer…Oh, lie! – I don´t remember, my mind jajaja- In February I have a travel to San Pedro of Atacama and to Bolivia. But in this occasion, I will talk about the places that I would like to visit, maybe one of these places is Brazil, is the truth; I would really like to go to Brazil and of course go to Bolivia. I think that I would like all the countries of the South American, I don’t why but I see beautiful landscape in pictures and it is amazing.  

Now, about the activities that I believe that make in my travel to Bolivia. My first visit is to San Pedro de Atacama –two days-, one or two day in Uyuni, later three days in La Paz and the same days in Copacabana, and the place finally is Arica. I want a similar tour for Brazil –too much beaches- but, I will like travel with all my family. I will like to visit this country because I have family, and they always speak about the wonderful that is space. One thing that forgets, it is that the travel for Bolivia is with my best friend and maybe, with others friends.
